  6. ¶5Writing  articles for Resident is very
  7. simple.   Just  load in your favourite
  8. text-editor  (CED  !)  The  format  is
  9. 38,->.  This means that you should not
  10. have  any  lines bigger than 38 chars,
  11. but  you  can  use  so  many lines you
  12. wish.    To   give  the  text  a  more
  13. professional  look,  you  should  also
  14. format the text.

  16. If  you  are  using  CED, this is very
  17. simple.   Load  in CED, and write your
  18. article.    Then   select  'Set  right
  19. border'  from the menu.  Set it to 38.
  20. Move  the  cursor  to  the  top of the
  21. text,  and  press  left-amiga +F until
  22. the  cursor  is  located at the end of
  23. the  article.   Don't  worry about the
  24. colouring,  I  will take care of that.
  25. If  you  want to include a clip-art in
  26. the  article, then send it on the same
  27. disk  as  the carticle, make place for
  28. it in the article, and leave a note to
  29. Ed.  where you want it.

  34. ¶5There  are  two  advert-formats.  They
  35. are  38,23  and  78,23.  Also here you
  36. don't   have   to   worry   about  the
  37. colouring, I'll do it for you !

  42. ¶5If you want to send us clip-arts then
  43. follow these rules:

  45. * Cliparts can use up to 8 colours.
  46.  
  47. * Cliparts should be in Hires.
